So different than here. Although some area where the US gets a lot of snow, we can look closer to that. Since our snow average is 1 inch a year where I live, no steep roofs or chalets like you have. 😀

It’s not where I live – we don’t get much snow either. The houses are typical for that part of the Alps. Also the use of shingles rather than planks or logs. What I like is the combination of stone and wood.
