      1. It’s not just the looks (which I quite like), but it’s kind of compromised. One the one hand it is definitely a geographical difference. the further north you get the less acceptable it is. But it goes deeper. Imagine everybody in the UK being constantly associated and confused with Brummies. πŸ˜‰

      2. I have not thought of that. Funny how the clothing makes a statement, especially cultural clothing, something that here in Australia we don’t really have. I guess it could be like the cork hats that is a stereotypical representation of the Australian “ocker” someone who speaks and acts in a rough and uncultivated manner. πŸ™‚
