If you didn’t know that the city of Frankfurt has a vineyard of its own, you’re not alone. We didn’t know either. And we certainly didn’t expect to find it 20km outside of Frankfurt, in Hochheim am Main.

Interesting and varied windows! You bring up an interesting quandary. Why would a city own a vineyard? How long ago did it become their property? At city events do they serve their own wine exclusively? Or at all? What does the label say on their bottles? Will I be able to sleep with all these questions bouncing through my head? Thanks! Haha, but really, I enjoyed the photos. Thank you!
