Unexpected Guests

In our area there are many storks and also grey herons during summer but I was taken by surprise last October when I came upon a group of great white egrets. I tried to get a bit closer but they they didn’t let me.

I’ve seen them again this March so these birds seem to make our area a stopover on their migratory flight.
