Adding Glue to Injury

It was a severe injury. The whole arm was ripped off below the shoulder. And I hadn’t even noticed it. Only when I saw the photos on the computer screen I realised what had happened.

I went back to earlier photos to pinpoint when the accident had happened. And there it was, about 10 shots earlier:

Immediately a major rescue operation was mounted. I collected the necessary material, i.e. a bowl and a sieve. And after putting all the sand through the sieve I found the missing limb. And started to reattached it to her body.

This photo is from a few weeks later. The injury hasn’t healed perfectly but she has both limbs again and is able to go off on new adventures.

A Photo a Week: Injuries non-serious please
