I’m usually too slow to photograph birds in flight. So I appreciated the strong winds that held the seagulls in a steady position. Also thanks to the kestrels I’ve photographed over the years – their hovering made it easier.
And I am adding this photo of these great egrets who were visiting for a few days on their way south for the winter. They didn’t let me get close enough for a good shot but I managed to snap them taking.
Linked to Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge: Anything that flies.
These look pretty good attempts to me! They will keep flying out of shot, won’t they?
