The illumination show we went to at the weekend is mostly a colourful affair. But some exhibits profit from being drained of colour.
This last one, the tree, should really be a video. The tree was illuminated by a circle of light in changing colours, shifting in slow spiral movements. But the monochrome treatment enhances the branches and twigs in a different way.
